Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of top management characteristics on corporate risk disclosure in the property and real estate sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021-2023 period. The top management characteristics analyzed include managerial ownership, gender diversity of directors, and tenure of directors, with firm size and profitability as control variables. The research uses a quantitative method with a panel data approach. The research sample consists of 61 companies selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 183 observational data for three years. The data is processed using regression analysis with the Random Effect Model (REM) after going through the model selection test and classical assumptions. The results showed no significant effect of managerial ownership, gender diversity of directors, and tenure of directors on corporate risk disclosure. Similarly, the control variables, namely company size and profitability, do not show a significant effect.
