Abstract
This study aims to analyze the determinants of stock prices by examining the effect of profitability, dividend policy, and inflation on stock prices in cyclical consumer sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data covering 164 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2018-2023 period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, resulting in 8 consumer cyclical companies analyzed in a six-year time period. Hypothesis testing was carried out using Panel Data Regression Analysis at a significance level of 5% (0.05) with the help of E-Views 12 and Microsoft Excel 2019 software. The results showed that (1) profitability has no effect on stock prices, (2) dividend policy has an effect on stock prices, and (3) inflation has no effect on stock prices.
