Abstract

Airforce engineer is a member of the aircraft engine who repair, adjust, inspect, and install the aircraft engines system, hydraulic and air pressure system. Employment as an airforce engineer has high risk often displayed noise from aircraft engines and equipment. This study aims to evaluate the correlation lenght of work as airforce engineer to sensitivity of hearing and blood pressure. This is an analytic correlative study using cross-sectional design and saturated samples. Total population are 54 airforce engineers. Most of them have been worked for 5 years (26.93%) and normal hearing (51.3%) and normotension (72.41%). Spearman test showed there are no correlation between lenght of work as an airforce engineer with hearing acquity and blood pressure, as well as there is no correlation between sensitivity of hearing in blood pressure.
