Abstract
According to the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (2022), the prevalence rate of stunting in all Bojongsari Sub-districts in Depok City is 12.6%. In 2022, the Depok City Health Office stated that the average percentage of stunted toddlers in Bojongsari Sub-district in Depok City was 6.35%. This number is still quite high compared to other sub-districts such as Cinere (1.7%), Limo (2.37%), and Tapos (4.33%). The World Health Organization states that stunting is a growth failure in toddlers caused by a chronic lack of nutritional intake. This study aims to gather information on variables that may influence the prevalence of stunting in the community. This research was conducted in collaboration with the posyandu of Bojongsari Baru, Curug, Serua and Pondok Petir villages. This research applied qualitative descriptive analysis to study stunting. This type of research aims to provide an in-depth understanding and description of the phenomenon of stunting. There are 130 samples who have stunted toddlers in Bojongsari District. Based on the results of interviews, it was found that mothers of stunted toddlers were in the low education and income categories. An overview of the variables that contribute to stunting in Bojongsari Subdistrict, namely the mother's last education is junior high school, health facilities are far from home, and father's income is below the minimum wage.
