Abstract
Non-medical logistics management is essential in ensuring the availability of non-medical goods in hospitals, including South Tangerang City Hospital as a regional referral hospital. Although non-medical logistics management has been carried out in the general subdivision and non-medical support section, its implementation has not been optimal. This study aims to describe non-medical logistics management in South Tangerang City Hospital in 2024. This type of research is qualitative with a case study, involving six informants. The results revealed that while logistics management is functional, it lacks efficiency and effectiveness. The issues identified include the accumulation of non-medical goods, prolonged distribution times, lack of inventory control, limited involvement of warehouse managers in the planning process, and inadequate warehouse space. It recommended that the hospital provide training to staff, improve infrastructure by seeking the establishment of a warehouse in the hospital area, and make comprehensive improvements at every level and process of management logistics.
