Abstract
Ranah 3 Warna (2022) is an Indonesian drama film directed by Guntur Soeharjanto and produced by MNC Pictures. This film depicts the unstable and experimental life of individuals experienced by individuals in the transition period from adolescence to adulthood called Quarter Life Crisis. This research aims to find out how the representation of quarter life crisis in the film "Ranah 3 Warna 2022" through John Fiske's semiotic approach by analyzing three levels, namely the level of reality, representation, and ideology. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with John Fiske's semiotic analysis method consisting of television codes that aim to find out the scenes that contain the dimensions of quarter life crisis reinforced by interviews and literature studies. The results of the research show that the reality depicted is in accordance with the reality that occurs when individuals are in transition making an unstable and experimental life that causes a quarter life crisis obtained through environmental codes, appearance, gesture and expression as well as representation through technical codes consisting of music codes, camera codes, camera angle codes and conversation codes that represent how an unstable individual's life is caused by internal and external factors based on the seven dimensions of quarter life crisis according to Alexandra Robbins and Abby Wilner. The ideology contained in the film "Ranah 3 Warna 2022" is related to the ideology of social class, liberalism, religiosity, pessimism, rationalism and individualism.
