Abstract
Provision of food art is a method that is done by using food art to increase the attractiveness of healthy food to children by making children's lunches more interesting and fun and can be one way to overcome appetite problems in children. This study aims to analyze the description of children's appetite with food art provision in preschool children (4-6 years) at RA Darul Hikmah Depok. This study uses a descriptive research design to describe or explain the variables studied without analyzing the relationship between variables. The sampling technique used total sampling with a sample size of 33 respondents. The instrument used was the Child Appetite Questionnaire to measure the level of appetite of preschool children with food art supplies. The results of this study showed that the majority of children were male as many as 19 children (57.6%). The majority of children were 5 years old as many as 24 children (72.7%). As for the nutritional status of children based on IMT / U calculations, the majority of students are in the normal range, namely 32 children (97%). Then before bringing food art supplies, 21 children (63.6%) were in the category of poor appetite. after bringing food art supplies, 31 children (93.9%) were in the category of good appetite. Researchers suggest continuing to maintain children's appetite with food art supplies so that the nutritional status of students at RA Darul Hikmah Depok City remains optimal.
