Abstract

Background: Plate removal surgery in hospitals is known as ROI (Remove of Inplate) is a surgical procedure that aims to remove internal plate fixation and screws from injured long bones if this procedure is not performed, it can cause complications such as infection in the body. Objective: To determine the Implementation of Physiotherapy in cases of Post ORIF Release Surgery Fracture of the Right Distal Radius. Method: The method used in this study is a case study in patients with a diagnosis of Post ORIF Release Surgery. The measuring instruments used are VAS, Goniometer, MMT, and WHDI. Results: After interventions carried out as many as 4 meetings using the modalities of Microwave Diathermy (MWD), Ultrasound (US) and Exercise Therapy showed that there was a decrease in the intensity of pain in motion, an increase in muscle strength, a decrease in edema, an increase in Range of Motion, and an increase in functional ability using the WHDI parameter. Conclusion: With the modalities of Microwave Diathermy (MWD), Ultrasound (US) and Exercise Therapy, pain can be reduced, edema can be reduced, muscle strength can be increased, range of motion can be increased, and functional ability can be increased.
