Abstract
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis, a painful form of arthritis, can develop as a result of repeated attacks of pain. In Indonesia itself, the number of Rheumatoid Arthritis sufferers increases from year to year, this is due to the adoption of an unhealthy lifestyle, one of which is consuming lots of foods high in purine and the public's lack of knowledge about Rheumatoid Arthritis. Purpose: this study is to report family nursing care for Mrs. S's family, especially Mrs. S with Rheumatoid arthritis in RT 01 RW 02, Kemuning Village. Results: The nursing problem obtained was ineffective health care related to the family's inability to recognize the health problems of family members with Rheumatoid Arthritis health problems, secondly, acute pain was related to family inability. in caring for family members, and the third diagnosis, physical mobility impairment related to the family's inability to care for family members with musculoskeletal system problems. Method: The research design for this case uses a descriptive research type with a case study approach through carrying out nursing assessments, determining diagnoses and scoring, planning nursing actions, implementing nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. Suggestion: In optimizing the criteria for the results of nursing care for Mrs. S's family, especially Mrs. S hopes that the family will get involved to be able to overcome the problem so that it cannot happen again in the future.
