Abstract

Home Kitchen by Bu Oin is a catering business that provides food and snacks. Home Kitchen by Bu Oin faces challenges in system effectiveness due to a lack of efficiency in recording sales reports which are still manual, as well as the slow ordering process via WhatsApp, especially when order volumes increase. This research aims to design and implement a more efficient website-based catering ordering system. Using a website as an ordering platform will allow customers to place orders quickly, reducing delays and errors. An automatic sales recording system will allow admins to manage sales reports more efficiently. This research was designed using the waterfall method in designing an information system and to test the system using black box testing. This research resulted in an information system containing information on product lists along with product prices, placing orders, making payments and selecting the desired delivery method.
