Abstract
Stroke is a serious condition characterized by neurological deficits caused by vascular issues. Blood pressure regulation is crucial in preventing stroke complications and improving long-term recovery prospects. Variations in MAP influenced by blood pressure affect cerebral blood flow. Blood pressure or MAP management is critical during the stroke treatment phase to ensure optimal cerebral perfusion and prevent increased intracranial pressure. This case study aims to provide an overview of nursing care analysis in stroke patients and analyze the intervention of Dhikr Therapy in reducing blood pressure. Dhikr Therapy intervention is administered 3 times a day for three consecutive days with a duration of 10 minutes per session in two acute and subacute ischemic stroke patients. The results show a decrease in blood pressure and MAP. From this study, Dhikr Therapy proves to be effective in reducing blood pressure in stroke patients. Nurses are expected to integrate Dhikr Therapy as the primary non-pharmacological therapy for managing blood pressure in stroke patients.
