Abstract
Background of the research discusses the effectiveness of “Reportase Investigasi” in Trans TV on the public awareness. Many cases of criminal acts that happenes in society as said some unscrupulous traders hussy selling his wares by mixing dangerous substances mungles foodstuff should not get mixed into meals that make uneasy on society. Researcher take the place of research in RW 003 Kelurahan North Cipete, Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru because in Cipete Market has been found a merchant who mixing pork into meatballs. This makes the researcher wants to find out how far the effectiveness of “Reportase Investigasi” in Trans TV on the public awareness. The purpose of this research for measuring how big the effectiveness of “Reportase Investigasi” in Trans TV on the public awareness (survey from mother house ladder of RW 003 Kelurahan North Cipete Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru). The theory used is communication, mass communication, jurnalistic television, program acara, tayangan, reportase investigasion news, the news, effectiveness, and consciousness. The methodology of research that we use is quantitative and kind explanative by methodology survey. The sample of this research is people RW 003 Kelurahan North Cipete Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru with a population of 883 people and the number of samples 90 respondents. The sample use sampling technique purposive. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire that propagated to the respondent. Conclusion of this research is there are effectiveness impressions reportase investigations to level of public awareness with 0,649 significance. Suggestions for “Reportase Investigasi” impressions Trans TV is expected to serve in accordance with the real facts so that people will know the real situation.
