Abstract
PT.Indogravure is a plant with the structure of the production process make to order, which is active in process of producing products to respond to order to come. In carrying out its activities PT.Indogravure should always pay attetion to production activities. There are several abstacles that occur in the production process, one of which ocurred at the work station queues products (work station) specific or often called a bottleneck. This condition causes troghput work stations in producing optimal. Purpose of this study is to reduce traffic bottleneck that occur in production at PT.Indogravure the theory of constraint method. While the benefits to be gained from this study provide input suggestion to reduce bottleneck in production line at PT.Indogravure and provide solutions to companies to reduce buildup on the production cross. The study states that for work station sandwich, IMAC, and coating require additional time for sandwich for 1400 minutes, 1290 minutes for IMAC and coating for 1820 minutes or 23,3 hours for sandwich, 21,5 hours for IMAC and coating for 30,3 hours. The time required can be solved by applying a system of overtime.
