Abstract
To determine the relationship between age and family history with the degree of differentiation of prostate adenocarcinoma in patients at the Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital for the period 2020 - 2023. This study used an analytical observational design with a cross sectional approach on 38 prostate adenocarcinoma patients at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital for the period January 2020 – December 2023 who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data used is secondary data obtained from medical records using total sampling techniques and analyzed using the Spearman test. The results of the bivariate analysis between age and degree of differentiation show a p-value of 0,03 with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,463, while the results of the analysis between family history and the degree of differentiation show a p-value of 0,164 with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,230. Based on the research results, it was found that most patients had a Gleason score of 8-10 (poorly differentiated). Then there was a significant relationship with sufficient strength between age and the degree of differentiation in prostate adenocarcinoma patients. Meanwhile, there was an insignificant relationship with weak strength between family history and the degree of differentiation in prostate adenocarcinoma patients.
