Abstract

This research aims to analysis the influence of the early warning system ratio which consist of premium growth ratio, incurred loss ratio, risk based capital, and operating cash flow on the prediction of financial distress on Conventional Insurance Company listed on the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan for the period of 2019 – 2022. Measurement for financial distress will using the Altman Z-Score. The number of samples was 116 samples from 29 insurance companies. This research used purposive sampling method and multiple linear regression for testing the hypothesis. The data was processed using STATA Ver 13. The research results show that the premium growth ratio, incurred loss ratio, and operating cash flow show that there is no influence on the predicting of financial distress, while risk based capital has a significant positive influence on the predicting of financial distress.
