Abstract

Culinary MSMEs have the opportunity to play a role in making Indonesia not only a top consumer but a top producer of halal culinary products for the national and global market. However, in August 2023, Indonesian culinary MSMEs are experiencing a slowdown in annual sales growth of 3.8% yoy compared to August 2022 and a monthly contraction of -10.9% mtm from July to August 2023. The aim of this research is to determine and explain the influence of implementing halal supply chains, digital marketing, and product innovation on business performance. This research uses quantitative methods. The population of this research was culinary MSMEs in DKI Jakarta, and the sample used was 125 respondents. Hypothesis testing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 26 statistical tools. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a significant influence of the halal supply chain and digital marketing on business performance, but product innovation does not significant affect the business performance of culinary MSMEs in DKI Jakarta. Then it was simultaneously discovered that halal supply chains, digital marketing, and product innovation significant influenced business performance. Thus, it is hoped that the results of this research can help culinary MSMEs in DKI Jakarta in determining the factors that must be considered in order to obtain good business performance.
