Abstract

The Bekasi City Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) is one of the government agencies that provides services in the field of population administration and civil registration in Bekasi City. In providing services, Disdukcapil has begun to utilize technology by releasing an application called Electronic Online Population Services (e-OPen). The e-OPen application aims to improve the quality of service and make it easier for people to make residency requests boldly. However, in its implementation, the e-OPen application still has not achieved a good rating for some users because several problems are still found. To find out the problems with e-OPen, researchers conducted a survey using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method which discusses 6 assessment scales, namely attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, consistency, stimulation and novelty. Based on the results of the survey, it is known that there are 3 user experience rating scales that get the below average category, namely clarity, efficiency and stimulation and there are 3 user experience rating scales that get the bad category, namely attractiveness, precise, and novel. This indicates that the user experience value of the e-OPen application is still not good because all scales are still below average and poor. Researchers made improvements by creating a UI display prototype using figma with the UCD method in order to increase the user experience value of the e-OPen application. After improvements were made, the value of each user experience scale increased as evidenced by 1 scale getting a good category, namely novelty and 5 other scales getting an above average category, namely attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, precision, simulation and novelty. And after that, the prototype was implemented into the improved front-end of the e-OPen application.
