Abstract
IT developments continue to increase rapidly in line with needs, one of which is digital transformation in business, including educational aspects. One of them is tutoring with the aim of improving students' ability to apply a tryout system to face important school exams at a tutoring institution. Monggo tutoring is a tutoring institution that provides tryout programs to prepare students for school exams. Currently, tryouts are still carried out manually, namely using paper, so a website-based online tryout application is needed which can speed up the process of checking answers, reduce the cost of using paper, and prevent answer results from being lost. This application uses the waterfall method for system design and the PIECES method for analyzing application requirements. This application was built using the Laravel framework and for storing data or databases with MySQL and UML to describe running business processes. It is hoped that this online tryout application can overcome the problems of implementing tryouts at Monggo Tutoring. Keywords: Tutoring, Tryout, UML, Website, Waterfall
