Abstract

The increase in the female workforce is accompanied by an increase in the emergence of work fatigue in female employees. Fatigue causes a decrease in work efficiency and can reduce work productivity, marked by the failure to achieve work targets. Fatigue is influenced by internal and external factors. This study aims to determine the factors that affect work fatigue in female employees at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta. The research method used is observational analytical with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study consisted of 36 samples obtained using simple random sampling. The analysis used in this study used the chi-square test to determine the influence between variables. The results of this study indicate that the variables of central obesity nutritional status (p=0.002), age (p=0.011), working period (p=0.001), and workload (p=0.007) affect work fatigue. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between central obesity, age, work period, and workload on work fatigue in female employees at UPNVJ. Therefore Female employees in institutional environments can reduce the risk of work fatigue by utilizing rest time effectively and stretching during work.
