Abstract
SMAN 84 Jakarta is a senior high school located at Jl. Peta Barat No. 42 Kalideres, West Jakarta. In this school, the workload experienced by the teachers increased due to changes in the education curriculum, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the PPDB age selection zoning system because of the need for adjustment and performance improvement. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the workload felt by teachers working at SMAN 84 Jakarta and finding the best alternative or proposed improvements that can be made. The methods used in this research are Subjective Workload Assessment Technique (SWAT) method and Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME) method. The results obtained using the SWAT method and the RSME method, namely in the RSME method workload is the most influential indicator with an average scale value of 100.625 and a proportion value of 18.82% with a large effort category, and in the SWAT method the workload experienced by teachers is most influenced by the Time (T) factor with a value of 44.02% and the work of participating in teacher training programs that most affect the teacher's workload to be high.
