Abstract
Indonesia is currently facing three burdens of nutritional problems that occur simultaneously, two of which have the potential to occur in the female adolescent population, namely overweight/obesity, and anemia. Referring to Riskesdas data shows an increase in the prevalence of overweight/obesity and anemia among Indonesian adolescents from 2013 to 2018. This research uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional study design that is analytically observational as the basis of this study. The analysis data used the chi-square test and multiple logistic regression aimed at analyzing the concurrent incidence of overweight and anemia in female adolescents aged 13-18 years in Indonesia and related factors based on the 2018 Riskesdas analysis data. The results showed that the variables significantly associated with the concurrent incidence of overnutrition and anemia in adolescent girls were region of residence (p=0.028) and soft drink/carbonated drink consumption (p=0.049). Based on the results of the multivariate analysis data obtained shows that the area of residence with a p-value of 0.007 AOR 0.520 (95% CI; 0.323-0.838) was the most influential variable on the concurrent overweight and anemia. This study concludes that adolescent girls living in rural areas are more at risk of concurrent overnutrition and anemia in Indonesia.
