Abstract
The development of the times at this time has brought people into the digital era which makes it much easier for humans to complete work in various fields, including education. Digitization programs are currently a necessity that must begin to be applied in order to achieve convenience and increase effectiveness in institutions, including the process of registering new students. The registration process, which is still done manually, raises several obstacles, such as limited information dissemination using brochures, as well as the time-consuming process of filling out forms. This study aims to create a website-based new student registration application to facilitate and reduce problems that may arise in the previous process. The registration application contains the registration process, starting from providing information, filling out the registration form, viewing registration status, managing data and reporting registration results. The design of this registration application uses the Waterfall method. Modeling uses UML, application testing uses the Black Box method. The programming languages used are HTML, CSS, and PHP with My SQL as the database. The results of this study are in the form of a website-based new student registration application that can simplify the registration process, providing information, and managing data to reporting.
