Abstract
Stunting is a growth and development disorder in children caused by malnutrition, and recurrent infections characterized by a child's height below the standards set by the Minister of Health. The causes of stunting can be influenced by several factors, including direct and indirect factors. This study used a cross sectional design. Sampling using total sampling technique so that a sample of 104 respondents was obtained. The research respondents were mothers who had toddlers aged 24-59 months in the Cipedak Village Posyandu Area. The instruments used were primary data by measuring toddler height using a microtoise, exclusive breastfeeding questionnaire and family support questionnaire. Statistical analysis test obtained the results of the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding (p value = 0.008), and family support (p value = 0.003) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in the Cipedak Village Posyandu Area. There is a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and family support with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. It is recommended that mothers should check the condition of their children's nutritional status regularly. Families should provide support and attention to mothers so that mothers are motivated to provide balanced nutritional intake to children.
