Abstract
State sovereignty is a vital right for an independent country. State sovereignty is the exclusive right to exercise supreme political authority. A country has a three-dimensional territory, namely land area, sea area, and airspace. However, because its territory is difficult to control, establishing airspace sovereignty is something that rarely receives great attention from the country. In facilitating airspace management, there are flight information regions related to the flight information services and warning services provided. The flight information region should only be related to matters of aviation safety, but in the issues raised in this research, the problem of managing the flight information region is related to sovereignty. With the delegation of Indonesian airspace to Singapore in 1946, Singapore became the managing country for Indonesia. However, in practice, Singapore is suspected of violating Indonesia's sovereignty over its airspace. As a managing country and a country that ratifies international law, Singapore still has to respect Indonesian sovereignty and not ignore the agreements reached by the two countries. In compiling this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods. Then, in reviewing the contents of the research discussion, using international law theory according to Hyde, Oppenheim, and Brierly.
