Abstract
Since the start of Covid-19 Pandemic our daily lives have changed significantly. With isolation, risk to health, and uncertainty rising within individuals during the pandemic, come with it a rise of fear to the Covid-19 Disease. Vulnerable individuals especially have a higher risk to experience this fear, such as those individuals with autoimmune diseases. With fear and anxiety sharing the same biological pathway, excessive fear may cause prolonged stress response. This research is a multivariable study with data taken on the population of individuals with autoimmune from ODAI community. The independent variable of this research is Fear of Covid-19 which are measured by the Fear of Covid-19 Scale (FCV19S) and the dependent variable are anxiety with the General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) questionnaire. Disturbing variables such as age, gender, marriage status, history of comorbid diseases, social economy status, history of steroid medicine intake, history of Covid-19 infection and vaccination are also taken into consideration in this research. This research shows that anxiety of individuals with autoimmune disease are not only influenced by fear of Covid-19. Without the influence of disturbing variables and factors outside of this research, there is a strong correlation between fear of covid-19 and anxiety
