Abstract
This study examines the role of the Depok City Government in implementing Child Friendly City policies, especially in handling cases of violence against children. The violence against children in Depok City have recorded an increase in the last three years since 2019, in fact the Depok City ranks first as the city with the highest number of reported cases in Jabodetabek. In the other hand, as long as the number of reported cases of violence against children increased, Depok City actually obtaining the Child Friendly City award with the Nindya predicate for 5 consecutive years. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study research approach. Case studies are used as an approach in this research in consideration of case studies can answer in more detail the phenomenon being studied. The data sources used in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources were obtained through the interviews conducted, while secondary sources were obtained through books, journals, theses, theses and news pages. The results of the research obtained by the author indicate that the Depok City Government has carried out has carried out its role as an autonomous regional government. The Child Friendly City Policy implemented in Depok City has fulfilled the standards by providing various facilities to support services. In this case the Depok City Government has tightened in accordance with the Depok City Regional Regulation Number 15 of 2013 concerning Implementation of Child Friendly City Policy.
