Abstract

Background: Public transportation is the most important element in the development of a country because it makes easier for humans to carry out daily activities so that it is faster and more efficient. The development of transportation technology that was previously only conventional is now based on online. The most common complaints in the workplace are ergonomic problems, namely musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). People who work with static loads repeatedly for a long time will have complaints in the skeletal muscles starting from mild to severe complaints. Design: this study uses a correlation with a cross sectional study approach, the number of samples carried out in this study is online motorcycle taxi drivers with a total sample of 269 drivers. This study used a driving duration questionnaire and a Nordic Body Map Questionnaire. Results: Based on the results of the study, 269 drivers who experienced complaints of musculoskeletal disorders with a duration of 10 hours/day and duration >10 hours/day, the highest complaints of musculoskeletal disorders were in the moderate category. For a duration of 10 hours/day as many as 87 drivers with a percentage of 39.5% while for a duration of >10 hours/day as many as 21 people with a percentage of 42.9%.
