Abstract

Patients with hypertension can experience anxiety caused by certain factors such as long treatment or the threat of dangerous complications, so that it can cause anxiety in hypertensive patients. The purpose of writing a final scientific paper for nurses is to obtain a description of the analysis of nursing care with innovative five-finger hypnosis therapy interventions in hypertensive patients who experience anxiety in Tarumajaya District, Bekasi. The case study subjects were two people with moderate level of anxiety. The instrument used to measure anxiety is using HRS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale). The results showed that there was a decrease in anxiety scores in managed patients, a decrease of 9 points from a score of 24 to 15, while in resume patients there was a decrease of 11 points from a score of 23 to 12. The study showed a decrease in anxiety scores due to hypertension by administering five-finger hypnosis therapy. It is recommended that support from the family be further enhanced in carrying out five-finger hypnosis therapy.
