Abstract
Innovation, transformation, as well as the increasingly sophisticated information technology, can provide many conveniences for social life, especially the use of the internet which is rampant today. In Indonesia itself, media companies that use internet technology have increased by providing news websites, one of which is Republika.co.id. Republika.co.id changed its news broadcasting into an online news portal with a much wider variety of news than when it was originally founded. To assist the development of the Republika website, a website quality evaluation study was conducted using Webqual 4.0 and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Webqual has 22 statement indicators covering 3 (three) aspects, including Usability (usability), Information Quality (quality of information), and Service Interaction Quality (quality of service interaction). The method used is a quantitative method to collect data, then the questionnaire is distributed using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Testing the data carried out from the results of the research, namely the validity test, reliability test and paired sample t - test, then continued by analyzing the value of the gap (Gap Analysis) between the performance assessment and the assessment of expectations, Webqual Index (WQI) to get the value of website quality, and calculate the value of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the analysis show that the Republika website is included in the good category, but there are still several indicators that need to be improved.
