Abstract
Developments in the digital era are so fast, people who used to use cash as a medium of exchange have now changed to using a digital-based cashless payment system. Due to the development of the payment system in the community, the trade sector has also experienced developments, one of which is micro, small and medium enterprises. Micro, small and medium enterprises must provide a digital-based payment system to accommodate people for transactions using digital-based payment systems. Therefore, Bank Indonesia issued a digital-based QRIS payment system to accommodate micro, small and medium enterprises to provide options for the public in transacting. This writing aims to determine the role of the QRIS payment system for micro, small and medium enterprises. From the results of this paper, it shows that the QRIS payment system provides several benefits such as convenience in transactions, providing a sense of security in transactions, and making it easier for micro, small and medium enterprises to record transactions. The QRIS payment system provides many benefits for micro, small and medium enterprises.
