Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of compensation, organizational commitment, law enforcement, internal controls against fraud in the public sector. This study uses the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia as a sample. Sampling technique using snowball sampling method. The sample consisted of 50 respondents. Testing the hypothesis in this study using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with SPSS 20 and a significance level of 5%. The results of the testing showed that (1) the compensation has no effect and no significant effect on fraud in the government sector with a significance level of 0.530 is greater than the specified level α = 0.05. (2) organizational commitment has no effect and no significant effect on fraud in the public sector because it has a significance level of 0.511 is greater than the specified level α = 0.05, (3) law enforcement has no effect and no significant effect on fraud in the public sector because it has a significance level of 0.885 is greater than the specified level α = 0.05, (4) internal pengendalan significant effect on fraud in the public sector because it has a significance level of 0.014 is smaller than the specified level α = 0.05
