Abstract
Musculoskeletal disorders in the lower back area are a common problem and often occur, anytime, and by anyone. However, due to the teaching and learning methods caused by the Covid-19 outbreak was changed the activity patterns that can cause musculoskeletal disorders in the lower back area for teachers. This study aims to find out the nominal, percentage, and review some of the causative factors that can cause musculoskeletal disorders in the lower back area. This study methode is a quantitative descriptive statistical design that uses a cross-sectional study approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The population used in this study were Elementary/Junior High School/Senior High School/Vocational High School teachers in the Greater Jakarta area. In this study, the parameters used were NRS (Numeric Rating Scale) to determine the scale of pain felt by the respondent, and NMQ (Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire) to determine which region was experiencing the disorder and the length of time. The results of this study, obtained as many as 131 teachers have musculoskeletal disorders in the lower back area with a total of 93 people (71%) women and 38 people (29%) men, and the age of teachers is classified from the age of 21-30 years with a total of 43 people (32.8%). From this study, it can be concluded that teachers can improve the understanding of teachers in preventing musculoskeletal disorders in the lower back area and risk factors that can also cause disorders.
