Abstract
The quality of education becomes one of the prominent instruments to produce human resources with high competitiveness. Unfortunately, the quality of education in Indonesia is still fairly low due to the low student learning outcomes and high illiteracy in several provinces, one of which is West Nusa Tenggara. With SDGs target 4.6 which focuses on literacy and numeracy skills, the issue of quality of education is one of the crucial issues that must be resolved in order to meet the target. As an effort to achieve SDGs targets in literacy and numeracy, Indonesia collaborates with Australia through INOVASI programs which focuses on improving the learning outcomes of early graders. Using descriptive qualitative research methods, this study aims to find out and analyze the implementation of Indonesia-Australia cooperation through INOVASI programs in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The theory and concept of international cooperation and Sustainable Development Goals are used as instruments in conducting this research. With Indonesia-Australia cooperation through INOVASI programs, efforts to improve the quality of education through improving student learning outcomes can be realized and can be used as an instrument to achieve the target of 4.6 SDGs.
