Abstract

UPT Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi UPN Veteran Jakarta is one of the technical implementing units at UPN Veteran Jakarta which carries out the development and management of information and communication technology systems. UPT Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi UPN Veteran Jakarta provides opportunities for students from Vocational High Schools (SMK) and for students from UPN Veteran Jakarta to be able to carry out practical work activities in the UPT Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi work unit. In the process of field work practices from registration to final assessment, there is no media for registrants and interns to obtain information related to the flow of field work practices. This creates a problem that causes the process of this field work practice to take longer to process input and output data, so a website-based internship information system is needed to process all data related to field work/internship practices. The making of this internship information system uses the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter framework and the MySql as a database management system (DBMS). The software development method used is the waterfall method which has stages of requirements, system design, implementation, integration & system testing, and maintenance. The results of this study are a website-based internship information system with the main features of internship registration, daily log data management and attendance, and management of apprentice scores. With the hope of helping the UPT Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi UPN Veteran Jakarta as well as applicants for internships and apprentices in the process of field work/internship activities.
