Abstract

This research was conducted to provide more information about the animals in the selected ones: Elephant Sumatra, Crocodile Crocodile, Borneo Orangutan, Sambar Deer, Deer Deer, Sumatran Tiger, African Lion, Hippopotamus, Gorilla, Eagle. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines real-world and virtual with the help of computer devices so it can be viewed in realtime. The author builds animal descriptions of Animal Garden based Ragunan Augmented Reality as an alternative explanation of more about the animal, so expect visitors to get more information about the animal. For the initial stage of the study the authors look for information about what animals will be selected. The second stage is to look at the Augmented Reality application example. The third stage is to create a marker design, usually black and white illustration based marker with a thick black border against a white background. To read the detection of marker angles using the FAST CORNER DETECTION algorithm. The fourth stage provides more information about the animals that have been selected. The results of this research is an Augmented Reality based application that will provide more information to visitors who experience difficulty to see writing that is damaged on the animal description board in each animal cage that has been selected
