Abstract
The oversize piston process is mostly done on motors that have exceeded the tolerance limits of size between the piston and the cylinder wall. The oversize process is a replacement with a piston diameter larger than the previous size of 50 mm. The object of research is using a 110cc matic motor. according to the number of consumer demand for more powerful motors, this analysis will be carried out in the calculation of the analysis will know the effect of motor performance with a standard piston diameter of 50 mm, diameter 54 mm and 58.5 mm and the impact on fuel with octane value of 88. The purpose of the oversize process is to determine the effect of motor performance and compare it with a standard piston and determine the impact of fuel consumption after the oversize process. The results show that by oversizing the piston an increase in stroke volume, but the pressure in the combustion chamber decreases, the compression ratio increases. As for power and style, it is relatively the same as standard-size motors, as well as a slight increase in fuel consumption. Keywords: influence of piston oversize process.
