Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a public health issue in Depok City, with varying case distributions across sub-districts. This study aimed to analyze the spatial pattern of DHF incidence based on environmental factors in Depok City in 2025. This observational study employed an ecological study design using aggregated secondary data at the sub-district and monthly levels. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, spatial mapping, Moran’s I spatial autocorrelation, and Pearson correlation tests. A total of 3,085 DHF cases were reported in 2025, with the highest number of cases recorded in Sawangan Sub-district (492 cases). Moran’s I analysis indicated no significant spatial autocorrelation (I=-0.1447; Z=-0.2247; p=0.4274), suggesting that the spatial distribution of DHF incidence tended to follow a random pattern. Correlation analysis showed that population density (r=0.079; p=0.818), Larvae-Free Index (LFI) (r=-0.473; p=0.142), altitude (r=0.290; p=0.386), average air temperature (r=-0.058; p=0.859), and rainfall (r=-0.275; p=0.388) were not significantly associated with DHF incidence. It can be concluded that the spatial distribution of DHF incidence in Depok City in 2025 tended to be random and that the environmental factors examined were not significantly associated with DHF incidence, suggesting that other factors may play a more important role in influencing DHF incidence.
