Abstract
The development of donation-based crowdfunding has transformed the pattern of public fundraising through digital platforms, but at the same time, it has raised legal issues related to the use of standard agreements and liability limitation clauses. Most previous research has focused on the digital economy, crowdfunding effectiveness, and donor protection in general, while studies on the relationship between digital contract law and platform governance are relatively limited. This study aims to analyze the legitimacy of liability limitation clauses in standard agreements on crowdfunding platforms and their implications for consumer protection in the digital ecosystem. This study uses normative legal research methods with both statutory and conceptual approaches. The analysis is conducted through doctrinal analysis and legal reasoning on civil law provisions, consumer protection, and digital platform regulations. To strengthen the normative analysis, this study also uses interviews as supporting data regarding the practice of implementing standard clauses on the Kitabisa platform.
