Abstract

Academic processes in the final stage of undergraduate studies involve various stakeholders, including students, supervisors, examiners, and academic administrative staff, particularly in the implementation of final project defenses. Based on observations conducted at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, the defense scheduling process is still carried out manually and is not yet integrated, which may lead to inefficiencies and schedule conflicts. This study aims to design a web-based scheduling dashboard information system to serve as a medium for presenting and managing schedule information. The prototype method is applied to gradually visualize user requirements and the dashboard interface flow. The design evaluation is conducted using scenario based Black Box testing to assess ease of use, clarity of information, and functional suitability of the dashboard. The results indicate that the proposed dashboard prototype is able to present final project defense scheduling information in a more structured and easily understandable manner for users. This design is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of a more effective and integrated final project defense scheduling information system dashboard within the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta.
