Abstract
The Digital Library of the Faculty of Computer Science (FIK), Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), currently relies on an open-source book management application (KOMGA) that operates independently, is not integrated with other administrative systems, and uses a single shared account, making it impossible to manage individual reading history and user preferences. These issues form the background for developing an integrated, personal-account-based book management system for the FIK UPNVJ Digital Library. This project was developed using the Agile/Scrum method with Next.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript as the main technologies. The system design applies UML modeling, including Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The main features include a digital book catalog with search and filtering, a reading interface, collection downloads, personal reading history, and a service rating feature. On the administrative side, the system provides book management features (add, edit, delete) and a dashboard analytics feature to monitor reading statistics and book popularity. The developed system was tested using black box testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and the results show that all book management features function according to the established requirements. This system is expected to improve the efficiency of digital collection management and provide a more personalized and optimal reading experience for all users of the FIK UPNVJ Digital Library.
