Abstract
PT Amanah Jaya Mandiri still manages its employee wage administration manually using Google Spreadsheets and three-copy work coupons, resulting in recording errors, delays in wage calculation, and difficulties in preparing payroll reports. This study aims to design and develop a web-based payroll information system to automate employee work records, wage calculations, cash advance management, and payroll reporting. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, consisting of the communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment phases. The application was built using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database, while system functionality was evaluated using Black Box Testing. The result of this study is a web-based payroll information system capable of managing employee data, job categories, production orders, work batch distribution, work results, cash advances, automatic payroll calculations, and weekly and monthly payroll reports. The developed system is expected to improve the efficiency of payroll administration, reduce calculation errors, enhance payroll transparency, and support management in monitoring employee performance and making better operational decisions.
