Abstract
Efficiency in Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a critical determinant of success for PT Saranajaya Serbaguna, a company in the automotive components industry striving to remain competitive within a dynamic market by optimizing material flow, production cost efficiency, and inventory management. However, its supply chain operations still rely on manual methods—such as Microsoft Excel and paper-based forms—resulting in poorly integrated inventory data and the absence of a real-time monitoring system, which in turn disrupts production scheduling and overall operations. To address this issue, the present study focuses on developing a web-based information system to support inventory management and real-time stock monitoring, aiming to integrate business processes, provide real-time visibility of inventory data, and support decision-making to prevent stockouts and overstock of raw materials. The system was developed using the waterfall model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, and is intended for use by multiple stakeholders, including Admin, Marketing, Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC), Purchasing, Raw Material Warehouse, Production, Finished Goods Warehouse, and Director. It offers features supporting SCM processes, such as master data management, customer order recording, raw material procurement, material issuance for production, and inventory control for both raw materials and finished goods. The results show that the developed system successfully integrates cross-departmental business processes, improving data management efficiency and reducing recording errors, and is expected to contribute practically to the automotive industry's adoption of digital technology for operational optimization.
