Abstract
In recent years, the potential for poverty alleviation in Indonesia through ZIS and sharia banking financing has grown significantly as the distribution of these two instruments has increased, creating real opportunities to improve the well-being of low-income communities. However, in reality, the poverty rate in Indonesia remains relatively high, and income inequality among different social groups is still quite wide, making this an issue that requires serious attention and sustained efforts to resolve. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the effects of ZIS, Islamic banking financing, and income inequality on poverty rates in Indonesia, using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression via Generalized Least Squares (GLS) estimation, processed using EViews 13 software. The results of the study show that, when analyzed individually, ZIS has no significant effect on poverty rates, Islamic banking financing has a negative and significant effect on poverty rates, while income inequality has a positive and significant effect on poverty rates. Simultaneously, all three variables have a significant effect on poverty rates in Indonesia. These results indicate that poverty alleviation cannot rely solely on Islamic social instruments and sharia banking financing but must also be supported by equitable income distribution.
