Abstract
The majority of Micro, Small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Serang, Banten still manage their business finances manually using a diary, making it vulnerable to recording errors (human error), data loss, and incompleteness of information that have an impact on the difficulty of making business decisions. This article discusses the design and implementation of five core modules in the web-based UMKM bookkeeping Information System (SISPEM UMKM), namely the authentication modul (Login, registration, and Forgot Password), product module, sales module, daily cash book module, and close the book module. The five modules are designed to integrate with each other to support accurate daily transaction recording, product master data management, chronological cash flow monitoring, and monthly accounting period locking to maintain data integrity. The system was developed using a full-stack approach with Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma ORM v6, and PostgreSQL. Testing was conducted through jest-based White Box Testing, Black Box Testing of all functionality, and User Acceptance Testing with Formikimba MSME actors in Serang Regency. The test results showed that all modules were passed and well received as digital bookkeeping tools that are easy to use by businesses without a formal accounting background.
