Abstract

PT. Geoservices faces challenges in recording nickel exploration drilling data, which is still conducted conventionally using Microsoft Excel and document circulation via e-mail, resulting in data queue delays, difficulty tracking the latest file versions, and a high risk of human error. This study aims to design a web-based information system for nickel drilling data management using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the Laravel framework, and a PostgreSQL database to digitize the daily workflow, implement automatic data validation, and provide a real-time monitoring dashboard. Requirements analysis was conducted using the PIECES framework, followed by UML modeling and user interface design. Black Box Testing results across 126 test scenarios showed a 100% success rate with a "Valid" status, while System Usability Scale (SUS) testing yielded an average score of 86.875, categorized as Grade A (Excellent). The system has proven capable of accelerating reporting, minimizing data input errors, and supporting accurate, real-time management decision-making.
