Abstract
The suboptimal utilization of information technology at SMA Islam Nazhirah Bandar Lampung has resulted in ineffective school performance, including delayed reporting and poorly managed data, thereby undermining the school's decision-making process. This condition negatively affects the school's ability to deliver accurate and timely academic and administrative services. This research aims to design and develop a web-based academic information system to improve school performance through operational efficiency, improved information accessibility, and data-driven decision-making support. The research adopts the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which emphasizes rapid and iterative development through collaboration with users. The system was developed using the Laravel 11 framework, with PostgreSQL as the database, and was tested using User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure its functionality meets user requirements. This research resulted in an academic information system capable of comprehensively resolving the school's performance issues, ranging from delayed reporting and data management to decision-making, while also strengthening service transparency for parents and school management.
