Abstract
This study aims to describe and examine a comparative analysis of the use of B-One and Accurate Accounting Software in supporting the implementation of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) based on the aspects of available features and modules, transaction recording flow, internal control, and ease of use. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive comparative method. Data were obtained through direct observation of B-One usage during an internship and Accurate during laboratory practicum, supported by relevant literature review. The results indicate that ERP-based software implements a structured transaction recording flow through an approval mechanism before transactions are posted, resulting in strict internal control but requiring a longer adaptation period. In contrast, cloud-based software has a simpler recording flow and an easy-to-understand system display, making it easier to learn although its level of internal control is relatively lower. Overall, the selection of appropriate accounting software should be tailored to the operational scale and internal control needs of the company.
