Abstract
Exploitation act towards children is one of the criminal acts against children that is prone to occur in society. As technology and intenet develops, there’s a new form of exploitation act towards children through turning children into influencers on social media, which has the potential to threaten their privacy on the internet. The main purpose of compiling this research is to determine the form of protection for children’s rights as influencer as a preventive measure and a form of law enforcement in Indonesia against child victim of exploitation crime as influencer in social media. The research method used in this research is the normative juridical method. Based on the results of this research, the form of protection for children's rights on social media has been regulated in several applicable regulations, both international and national, with the role of the government and society are needed in order to reduce the exploitation crime against kidfluencers on social media. The law enforcement can be applied to the perpetrators based on the provisions of Law Number 35 of 2014 On Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 On Child Protection. The results of this research also shows the importance of the role of government and society in overcoming this problem due to the issue of protecting children's rights on social media and enforcing the law is a shared responsibility between parties in order to increase awareness of the impact of children becoming influencers.
