Abstract

Recording usage of the laboratory equipment is needed for helping staff of the laboratory to check the laboratory equipment that is borrowed by the students to support college student’s learning activit ies in SMK Analis Kesehatan Tunas Medika. To facilitate equipment recording activity needed an information systems that can support in laboratory. This research aims to develop information systems such as an application based on computer at Laboratory in SMK Analis Kesehatan Tunas Medika in recording usage of the equipment in laboratory, because all this time all the process almost entirely has done as semi-manual. This research was develop through qualitative methode such as collecting data through document study, observation and interview. Software engineering in this research using RAD method (Rapid Application Development). The data analyzed using the PIECES method. Design applies the OOAD method (Object Analysis and Design) with UML tools (Unified Model Language). The expect results are laboratory information systems. That systems facilitates for collecting data, processing data and submitting the report to the related parties.
