Abstract
This study develops an ESP32-based wearable device to support construction safety monitoring by integrating real-time physiological and environmental indicators. The system integrates sensors for heart rate, skin conductance (GSR), carbon monoxide (CO) exposure, and a GPS module for location tracking. Data from these sensors are processed using a Sugeno fuzzy logic model to classify the user's condition into three categories: Safe, Caution, and Unsafe. The classification results are transmitted to an Internet of Things (IoT) platform for remote monitoring, while local alerts are triggered upon detecting hazardous conditions. Experimental results demonstrate stable multi-parameter sensing and high classification accuracy across various activity scenarios. These findings suggest that the proposed system is effective for early-warning support and facilitates more proactive occupational safety and health (OSH) supervision on-site.
